• Look into what phase the moon is in before you begin your potion, spell or ritual, as the moon can have dramatic changes on the outcome of your craft.
• It's also a good idea to be mindful about the date, time, and planetary alignment when performing certain spells and rituals, as some deities and elementals are fonder over certain times, date, and celestial alignments. So, making sure that your practice follows their preference can make it that much more of a magickal experience, not to mention the strength of your practice will be much more intense leading to nothing less than your desired outcome.
• Always approach magick with a clear and focused intention, as intention is the most important part of your craft.
• Cleanse yourself, your area, and the materials being used before and after performing, or creating any potion, spell, or ritual, as you want to get rid of, as well as remove any residual or stagnant and/or negative energies in or around your practice and items used.
• Remember to give thanks to the universe, ancestors, elementals, or any other type of spirits or deities that you may have called upon during your potion, spell, or ritual, as it shows love and gratitude because let's be honest; they did not have to lend their energy or bless you and whoever else with their presence for the practice!
• When using the potions, spells and/or rituals that I've shared from my own personal Book of Shadows, I hope that you are able clear away any negativities, ailments and/or obstacles in your life and I hope that you are able to invite positive changes and opportunities in your life.
